This weekend Hannah has celebrated two major milestones. After about 2 weeks, Hannah is potty trained. We're still having a few accidents but I think we're over the hump.
We've had Hannah's toddler bed in our office and showed it to her a lot to try and get her used to it. Well, Sunday morning I was cleaning up her room a little and when I went to find Hannah she was laying in her toddler bed. Hannah told me that she was a big girl now because she used the big girl toilet and she needed her big girl bed. After church, we took down her crib and put her bed in her room. I don't know what I expected but I thought Hannah would be a little sad giving up her crib. Instead she loves her toddler bed.
I'm excited to see Hannah reaching these milestones but I can't but feel that little twinge of sadness as I see my little baby girl growing up.

If mine is a princess yours is definitely a rock star! Those are the sunglasses of a two year old who's going places! Does Hannah also believe that you have to be stark naked in order to use the potty? I think she and Whitney would really hit it off! They seem to see eye to eye.
That last comment is so true isn't it!
Yes. Those experiences are "bitter-sweet". Treasure them. They'll be gone before you know it. But the nice thing is that there are new wonderful ones coming right along. Thanks for being such a great mom. Love ya.
