This weekend we had our ward's 2nd annual camp out at Camp Nauvoo and it was a blast!! It seemed like at least half our ward was there.
The camp has a dammed up pond that makes for a great little swimming hole for the kids. Hannah was very excited at first and marched out with swim ring but decided hanging out on the rock near the bank was more her style.
Hannah was adventurous enough to go on the raft with her dad.
One of Hannah's favorite things to do was walk on the bridge that went over the pond. We walked over it again and again and again and, well you get the point.
Here's Hannah enjoying two of her favorite foods; carrots and strawberries.
Hannah roasted her first marshmellow.....
and had her first Smore.
She loved it!
When it was time to leave, Hannah even helped us take down the tent.

Looks like you had a lot of fun. I keep telling myself that the kids would have a blast, and we really need to do it (camping) one of these days. But then I'm reminded how much I hate camping (not really tempted to consider sleeping in a bag on the ground while I'm pregnant).
Maybe some day...
Great pics and fun to read. You are doing such a great job chronicling our family adventures. Great stuff.
Love to all

How fun! And what cute pics. I love it. And what nice memories of family camping at Camp Nauvoo. I'm sooooooo glad you guys had such a wonderful time. I, also, love your true blue family picture at the beginning of your blog. Very "patriotic". Love ya, Mom
Where is Camp Nauvoo at? Is it anything like Camp Lehi? Remember when we use to go there? That was fun. We had some good times.
